Sandha Woodworks has expanded its engineering and project management groups in response to growth in institutional, healthcare and multi-site retail programme volume.
The expansion is structured specifically to preserve the organization's single project manager model, in which one project manager holds a scope from award through engineering, manufacturing, logistics, installation, close-out and warranty.
That model is a deliberate operating choice rather than an organizational convenience. Millwork scopes lose information at every handoff between departments — the reason a detail was drawn a particular way, a commitment made in a coordination meeting, a site constraint identified during estimating. Single-point accountability preserves the reasoning behind decisions, not only the decisions themselves.
Maintaining that model as volume grows requires proportional investment in engineering and project management capacity rather than production capacity alone. The current expansion reflects that requirement.
