Sandha Woodworks Service Ltd. is a fast-growing architectural millwork and cabinetry manufacturing company based in Brantford, Ontario.
We deliver precision craftsmanship for high-end commercial, institutional, and retail interiors from design to installation.
Our modern facility is equipped with CNC machinery, finishing booths, robotics, and in-house logistics.
We’re expanding rapidly and now looking for a Senior Millwork Engineer to lead our drafting and engineering operations.
Position Overview
As a Millwork Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming design intent into precise shop drawings, CNC programs, and production documentation using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who takes full ownership of engineering, can make confident decisions, and works independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed shop drawings, cut lists, hardware lists, and CNC programs using Microvellum and AutoCAD.

Engineer custom architectural millwork, casework, and cabinetry for commercial and institutional projects.

Collaborate closely with estimators, project managers, and production teams to ensure buildability and efficiency.

Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and RFIs with high accuracy.

Maintain Microvellum standards, libraries, and parametric models.

Support the production floor with technical problem-solving and value engineering.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in architectural millwork or cabinetry engineering (commercial / institutional preferred).

Advanced knowledge of Microvellum (required).

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD/CAM tools.

Deep understanding of woodworking construction methods, hardware, and materials.

Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000 – $95000+ CAD annually (based on experience).
